Growing up in San Diego was such an amazing experience and when we moved to Oregon I thought that part of my wedding career was over. Turns out I have been able to travel down to San Diego quite a few times for weddings and for engagement sessions for my couples. There are so many amazing places to shoot in San Diego and Downtown on Broadway was so stunning for these night before the wedding photos! We also popped over to The Santa Fe Train Station and the Embarcadero.

Thomas and Avery met in college and their long awaited wedding weekend arrived on a typical for San Diego, sunny January. The night before their wedding we met post rehearsal at the gorgeous Flora The Venue and went from there!

This session at the GORGEOUS new Slate Studios in Medford, Oregon is stunning and the options are endless here!

This lovely session with Anna and Seth was creative, fun and connective. These two know just how to show genuine love with one another and showcase that intimacy. I loved that they brought so many outfit options and it was really fun to mix and match!

A TIP from this session - bring pieces that go together so that you can squeeze in some different variations to end up with multiple looks for a flowed through look. Neutrals and simple styles are always the best in a lower key session.

Ahhh!! I am just SO in love with this session!! These two & their connection was everything I love about storytelling. Both musicians & a married couple ( I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding years ago.), it was so fun to see their two passions interact. Each other & Music! You will definitely want to check out their band - Crow La Moon.

I shot this session at the absolutely stunning Greenwood Villa! I could literally come up with a thousand ideas to shoot here! I love when the story of a couple merges so seamlessly into a perfect concept for a shoot. I love the way this produces real & genuine moments that are pointing to the overarching theme of someone’s life.

This DAY! Such a perfect start to wedding season. From start to finish this wedding was so perfect. The most wonderful couple and the loveliest Southern Oregon wedding venue- Hummingbird Estate Winery in Jacksonville, Oregon.

This car has been in the brides family for a long time & shooting this session at Chateau Herbe in Ashland Oregon was such a blast! I can’t wait for this summer wedding in Grants Pass, Oregon & to capture even more of these two!

Luxury comes to Southern Oregon. The first time I saw pictures of this venue I was stunned. I knew immediately that I just had to photograph weddings here & help to get the word out on this lovely Southern Oregon Wedding Venue. I teamed up with several other vendors, including the incredible Events with Becca that styled this whole shoot- & I toured & photographed this gorgeous place. The Chateau Herbe is a unique estate with a European flair nestled in beautiful Ashland Oregon. It had been one of thee best kept secrets until recently. As soon as Thaddeus and Rebecca saw it they knew it would make a stunning venue for brides who wanted a fairytale look.

The property boast hand carved marble statues, a replica of the Chateau Herbe in France, expansive manicured grounds and gorgeous views of the mountains.

We love sharing the property so others can enjoy Europe in Southern Oregon.

NOW SHALL WE START OUR TOUR?

This stunning view at the front of the property, immaculately maintained and a true work of architectural art is a sight to behold and will be the first thing your guests see on arrival. I can only imagine all the magical weddings that will happen here. As a photographer I loved the lighting here. Beautiful light in the front here lends to that European feel in the images and captures such magic. While the front is in shade the back is in sun so you can time your wedding photos perfectly to take advantage of the full property.

Equally as gorgeous is the back half of the property where weddings take place on the lawn- on one end the back view of the chateau and at the other a lovely French inspired rotunda. On either side of the lawn you have gorgeous tree lined walks perfect for cocktail hour and an incredible trebuchet fountain.

Inside, options for taking bridal or couples images are endless, from the stunning getting ready room with lots of soft light to the timeless downstairs green room full of amazing pieces of art and furniture.
