This wedding at Flora in San Diego in the Downtown area was so gorgeous! Avery and Thomas were so lovely to invite me to capture their wedding and it was amazing to be in my hometown in California :)

From start to finish this session was such a blast. As soon as I came home I couldn’t wait to edit this sneak peek for this amazing couple. This car has been in the brides family for a long time & shooting this session at Chateau Herbe in Ashland Oregon was such a blast! I can’t wait for this summer wedding in Grants Pass, Oregon & to capture even more of these two!

This Ashland Oregon Engagement Session was an absolute blast! From the urban shots to the mountaintop guitar session- these two did not disappoint. I love capturing the personalities & vision of my couples & photographing these two while they visited Southern Oregon was such a pleasure. Can’t wait for their wedding later this year & creating more memories for them.

Luxury comes to Southern Oregon. The first time I saw pictures of this venue I was stunned. I knew immediately that I just had to photograph weddings here & help to get the word out on this lovely Southern Oregon Wedding Venue. I teamed up with several other vendors, including the incredible Events with Becca that styled this whole shoot- & I toured & photographed this gorgeous place. Tucked into gorgeous Ashland, Oregon this venue offers a sweeping and vast property full of beauty and so many amazing places to capture your wedding day - a wedding photographers dream! The Chateau Herbe is a unique estate with a European flair nestled in beautiful Ashland Oregon. It had been one of thee best kept secrets until recently. As soon as Thaddeus and Rebecca saw it they knew it would make a stunning venue for brides who wanted a fairytale look.

The property boast hand carved marble statues, a replica of the Chateau Herbe in France, expansive manicured grounds and gorgeous views of the mountains.

We love sharing the property so others can enjoy Europe in Southern Oregon.

NOW SHALL WE START OUR TOUR?

This stunning view at the front of the property, immaculately maintained and a true work of architectural art is a sight to behold and will be the first thing your guests see on arrival. I can only imagine all the magical weddings that will happen here. As a photographer I loved the lighting here. Beautiful light in the front here lends to that European feel in the images and captures such magic. While the front is in shade the back is in sun so you can time your wedding photos perfectly to take advantage of the full property.

Equally as gorgeous is the back half of the property where weddings take place on the lawn- on one end the back view of the chateau and at the other a lovely French inspired rotunda. On either side of the lawn you have gorgeous tree lined walks perfect for cocktail hour and an incredible trebuchet fountain.

Inside, options for taking bridal or couples images are endless, from the stunning getting ready room with lots of soft light to the timeless downstairs green room full of amazing pieces of art and furniture.

This shoot was an absolute dream & I cannot believe this venue exists in Southern Oregon. It was so much fun to help capture the beautiful creation of so many vendors collaborating to showcase what this venue can do! Ill have a further post with interiors and more but for now I wanted to share a sneak peek to get it out to the Oregon wedding community!

WOW! This session. There are no words to describe how honored I am to photograph every love story. Sometimes though, there will be a particular one that just really gets me. Aaron and Amanda’s is definitely one of them. I met with Aaron and Amanda when they were planning a full wedding and the chose me to be their wedding photographer, fast forward a few months and they made the decision that a simple elopement was more intentional and meaningful for them. We shifted gears and started planning an amazing adventure session, first in beautiful Prospect. Oregon and than on up to finish their wedding pictures at Crater Lake National Park. Being a wedding photographer allows me to witness some beautiful places with some beautiful people and these spots and this couple was no exception. The love and connection between these two was so awesome to be able to document and I’m so thankful I was a part of it.
